Minister of Health, Dr. Halliru Alhassan, has said that there will be more money in the current year for all health programmes.
He said the recent assent given to the National Health Bill by President Goodluck Jonathan would ensure more funding for agencies such as the National
Primary Healthcare Development Agency and the National Health Insurance Scheme.
The minister, who spoke in Sokoto, maintained that the funding would translate into provision of efficient healthcare services to Nigerians by the federal government.
"We are indeed looking at a bright 2015 as far as the health sector is concerned," he said.
He also stressed the commitment of President Goodluck Jonathan- led administration towards moving the nation to greater heights.
He added that they are determined to provide the best for Nigerians in all sectors of the economy.
