As the COVID-19 pandemic has spread, health systems around the world have faced challenges in preparing for and responding to an infectious disease outbreak, while also needing to maintain high-quality essential health services.

In May 2020, the JLN Steering Group approved the launch of the COVID-19 Network for Open Dialogue and Exchange (NODE) to support countries in accessing, sharing, and discussing COVID-19-related knowledge.

The COVID-19 NODE introduces rapid feedback mechanisms and proven virtual learning approaches to identify, prioritize, and respond faster to countries’ needs for joint learning about effective pandemic responses and maintaining essential health services.
